Kandanga Valley showed just 2 young bulls this year at Beef and achieved the best results that could be expected. For 2 head, we received 2 first placings and a Calf Champion Male, Kandanga Valley Dapper, who came up against some magnificent older bulls for Grand Champion.
At only 10 ½ months of age, Dapper was a very credible 606kgs, has a beautiful strong polled sires head, and stands on very correct legs and bone structure. By a Full French Charolais sire in Trevlac Zambia (Nelson) and out of a quality Garglen bred Brahman cow, Dapper shows all the benefits of this unbeatable first cross animal.
Our other youngster, Dynamo, at just 9 months of age, weighed in at 570kgs and displays tremendous masculinity for such a young bull. He’s looked like a bull from the day he was born. A generation bred Charbray proving you can maintain weight and muscle.
