Our show team has enjoyed another successful year with the pinnacle being Beef 2009. Where we took out Champion Calf Heifer, Champion Junior Heifer and Reserve Junior Champion Bull, as well as the Breeders Group, Dam’s Progeny, and a second in the Sire’s progeny. The judge Mr David Bassingwaite commented that we as breeders had a clear and positive direction.
We have invested heavily in the past two years in genetics through the use of IVF and AI programs. We believe that in today’s market only the best bulls will sell.
We will be offering Charbrays bulls at the Annual Charbray Society Sale in September. The majority of the Charbray bulls will again be sold in the paddock and again mainly to repeat buyers. Our policy is to produce bulls ‘Ready to Work’. Our Charbray bulls are bred on forest country and in the ticks and generally go ahead very well. After 30 years of selling are now bulls now scattered all over Queensland and the Northern Territory and enjoy a great reputation.
